LECC Spring Fair

We went to the Monster Mash Spring Fair this afternoon at Nicholas' school. I love the logo! They gave each child a little backpack with this monster on it when we checked in. There were cute monster themed carnival game booths (bean bag toss, lollipop tree, cake walk etc.) and a whole art project room that I apparently didn't photograph.

The kids' first stop? Why the bounce house of course! There were several to choose from, but this one was the most tame (and had the most visibility for parents).

They had fun bouncing together.

Nicholas was most definitely not interested in face painting. Neither was Charlotte, but she did want a hand painting.

This was a cute idea. They set up a water table with bubble solution and had lots of different wands.

Clearly Nicholas enjoyed them.

Charlotte passed on the bubbles, but was all over the petting zoo of course.

Ladue police and fire were there. What boy turns down pretending to drive a fire truck??

Nicholas thought it was especially cool to turn on the police sirens and flashers himself.

Charlotte was happy just watching Nicholas and the vehicles...but she wanted a hat.

A major highlight (the kids went twice!) - the pony rides.

She looks a little unsure...but she liked it.

The rain held off long enough for a concert with Nicholas' favorite local entertainer...Babaloo.

He sat next to his Cat class friend, Isabella, and ate his BBQ dinner.

After the concert, the kids played a bit in the playground. Had to include at least one picture with Charlotte smiling. I swear she's a very happy child!

What a blast we had at the Spring Fair. Between the two kids, we've got 4 more years at this school and as many Spring Fairs to come!
