I'll admit to being very out of practice at French braiding. And I was doing it standing up at a baseball game. But the combo of the puffy braid and the necklace she is wearing to be "fancy" (an old bridesmaid necklace from a million years ago) somehow makes her look like a child bride from some sort of cult. Luckily my poor braiding skills meant that the braid fell out as she played so this was a short-lived look. Luckily! Yikes!
