We split up so the boys could hit the last roller coaster we hadn't been on the day before. Charlotte and I rode some flying pirate ships and drove the old fashioned cars.

Since we had already hit every ride in the park at least once, we let the kids choose what they wanted to repeat. Number one choice? Pedal trains! This gives you a better view of the track.
This is the entrance to a FUN in-the-dark roller coaster (ala Space Mountain) called "Vogel Rok" which simulates the flight of a bird. It was a quick one but had no line, even today, so Nicholas rode it several times with me, then several times with Tom.
Just like at Magic Mountain in St Louis, our kids really wanted to spend time in the playground. Perhaps here I think it was especially driven by the interesting equipment:
Last ride of the day! The kids bolted to Droomvlucht, a ride that reminds me of Peter Pan at Disney.

We ended our day with our favorite Dutch treat, oliebollen.
You can never go wrong with fried dough covered in powdered sugar.
Kids both picked a Raveleijn themed souvenir. Nico got Tomas' sword...
and Charlotte chose Lisa's helmet. They both swear they're going as Raveleijn characters for Halloween.
At closing time we headed up to Amsterdam to spend the night before our early flight the next morning.

And so ends our Spring Break 2014. I don't know how it could have been any better!
